Loop Voice for WooCommerce: carts, orders and coupons through one plugin

The Loop Voice for WooCommerce plugin sends your abandoned carts, orders, products, customers and discount codes to Loop Voice, so flows can call and text shoppers and stop when the order comes in. You connect it with a one-time token; the plugin creates its own REST API key and signs every event, so there are no keys or webhooks to set up by hand.

    What it does

    Sends
Abandoned carts, once the shopper has typed an email or phone number at checkout and the cart has sat idle for the time you set.
    Syncs
Products and variations, customers and your WooCommerce coupons, with a backfill of the existing catalog when you connect.
    Tracks
Orders, so a flow stops when the shopper buys and the sale counts toward attributed revenue.
    Creates
Discount codes in your store, through a Read/Write REST API key the plugin makes for Loop Voice.

    How to connect

    1. 1

Check the basics: WordPress 6.2 or newer, PHP 7.4 or newer, WooCommerce active, the store on HTTPS, and an Administrator or Shop Manager login.

    2. 2

Download the Loop Voice for WooCommerce plugin from the WooCommerce setup guide and leave it zipped. In WordPress, go to Plugins, Add Plugin, Upload Plugin, install the file and click Activate Plugin.

    3. 3

In Loop Voice, open Settings, Integrations, WooCommerce and click Generate connect token. Copy it now: it starts with loopwc_, is shown once, works once and expires after 7 days, and a newer token cancels any unused older one.

    4. 4

In WordPress, open WooCommerce, Loop Voice, paste the token, leave the API base URL as it is, keep Start catalog backfill after connect switched on, and click Connect.

    5. 5

Check that the plugin reads Connected with REST credentials Present, and that Loop Voice shows the store as Connected.

    6. 6

Set Abandoned cart idle minutes under WooCommerce, Loop Voice, Status & sync and click Save idle setting, then make sure your checkout asks for a phone number.

Lives in Settings, Integrations, WooCommerce, and in WordPress under WooCommerce, Loop Voice. A workspace connects to one store, so give each extra WooCommerce store, and any staging site, its own workspace.

What you can do with it

What the plugin sends, and what Loop Voice does with it

What the plugin sendsWhenWhat Loop Voice does with it
Abandoned carts: items, totals, contact and address detailsAfter the idle time, once an email or phone number is typed at checkoutStarts the abandoned checkout flow
Orders: number, status, totals, itemsIn real timeStops the flow when the shopper buys, and counts toward attributed revenue

The plugin adds no tracking pixels, advertising IDs or browser fingerprinting, and it only talks to Loop Voice's servers.

Idle minutes and the phone field decide who gets a call

Carts with only an email reach Loop Voice too, but calls and texts need a phone number, so make sure checkout asks for one:

A phone number is not consent to AI calls. Collecting and proving consent stays with you; our guide to calling rules covers what the opt-in should say and how to check it's saved when a shopper abandons checkout, and counsel should confirm the wording.

The idle time defaults to 60 minutes, and the abandoned checkout flow can't start before the cart arrives, so at the default the first call comes an hour or more after the shopper goes quiet. In Loop Voice's September 2026 benchmark, shoppers first called 5 to 15 minutes after leaving checkout ordered within 5 days at 22.9%, against 4.1% when the first call came 15 to 60 minutes later. The benchmark compares different shoppers and stores rather than running a controlled test, so read the gap as a direction.

To call sooner, lower the idle minutes first, then shorten the flow's opening wait, which is 10 minutes in the template. If the shopper orders first, the flow stops without dialing.

    Keys and the WordPress scheduler

The plugin's REST API key is Read/Write, which WooCommerce describes as letting an app both read store data and create and update it (WooCommerce REST API docs). If the key gets deleted, the plugin shows REST credentials as Missing: carts and orders still arrive, but new discount codes and catalog re-syncs stop until you create a Read/Write key under WooCommerce, Settings, Advanced, REST API and paste it into the plugin.

Sending runs on WP-Cron, which WordPress triggers only on a page load (WordPress's cron handbook). On a quiet site, or a host that turns WP-Cron off, carts can wait in the queue past the idle time. If the plugin's Queue depth keeps climbing, ask your host for a server cron job that calls wp-cron.php every few minutes. Security plugins and firewall rules, such as Wordfence or Cloudflare, can block the connection too: allow /wp-json/loop-voice/ and /wp-json/wc/, plus outgoing connections to api.loopvoice.ai.

After any WooCommerce, theme or checkout plugin update, rerun the checkout test from our comparison of WooCommerce cart recovery options.

    FAQ

    Common questions

Will the Loop Voice plugin slow down my store?

No. The plugin queues events and sends them in the background, so pages and checkout aren't held up.

Why does the plugin say the connect token is invalid or expired?

The token was already used, is more than 7 days old, or a newer token replaced it. Generate a new one in Settings, Integrations, WooCommerce and paste that one.

Why aren't abandoned carts showing up in Loop Voice?

Check that the shopper typed an email or phone number at checkout, that the idle minutes have passed, and what the plugin shows under Last webhook error. On a quiet site, click Process queue now to send waiting events.

Does it work with a one-page or heavily customized checkout?

It works with themes that use the standard WooCommerce cart and checkout. With a heavily customized or third-party checkout, such as a one-page checkout plugin, ask Loop Voice support to confirm carts are captured before you go live.
