Loop Voice for Shopify: AI calls and texts from your store data

Loop Voice connects to Shopify to read your products, customers, orders and abandoned checkouts, and it attributes recovered revenue by Shopify order number. Those records start flows, make up campaign audiences, and let the inbound agent look up an order and give its status. Authorization happens on Shopify, with no API key.

    What it does

    Reads
Products, customers, orders and abandoned checkouts from your store.
    Starts
Flows from store events such as an abandoned checkout, an order placed, an order fulfilled or a second order.
    Targets
Campaigns at any Shopify segment, your abandoned checkouts or your inactive customers.
    Answers
Order status on inbound calls: the agent looks up the order and gives its status.
    Attributes
Recovered revenue by Shopify order number, within the attribution window you set for the workspace.
    Shows
Your product, customer, order and abandoned-checkout counts, currency and primary market on the Shopify settings page.

    How to connect

    1. 1

Install Loop Voice from its Shopify App Store listing, or open Settings, Integrations, Shopify in Loop Voice and connect your store.

    2. 2

On Shopify's Install app screen, review the data access Loop Voice asks for and its privacy policy, then click Install to authorize it (Shopify's guide to installing apps). There is no API key to create or paste.

    3. 3

Back in Loop Voice, open the Shopify settings page and check the product, customer, order and abandoned-checkout counts, currency and primary market it shows against your store.

    4. 4

If the Shopify page says newer features need the Customers and "Tagging converted orders" permissions, reconnect. It takes about 30 seconds and keeps your data and settings.

Lives in Settings, Integrations, Shopify. A workspace has one storefront, and Checkout Champ can connect as the checkout on it.

What you can do with it

What Loop Voice does with each kind of Shopify data

Shopify dataWhat Loop Voice uses it for
Abandoned checkoutsStarting the abandoned checkout flow, and campaigns to abandoned checkouts
OrdersOrder status on inbound calls, stopping a flow when the customer orders, and revenue attribution
CustomersCampaigns to Shopify segments and to inactive customers
ProductsThe knowledge base the agent answers from, which syncs your products next to your crawled pages, policies and FAQ

Speed matters most with checkouts. In Loop Voice's September 2026 benchmark of 7 stores, 22.9% of checkouts abandoned during calling hours and first called 5 to 15 minutes later ordered within 5 days, against 4.1% when the first call came 15 to 60 minutes later. These are order rates, not answer rates, and the benchmark is an estimate, not a randomized test.

Loop Voice never stores card data; payments are handled by Shopify and Stripe (security).

    How recovered revenue is counted

Loop Voice ties revenue to the Shopify order number, inside an attribution window you set for the workspace, and reports it per flow, campaign, channel and cart value band. Calls use credits only when someone answers: about 1.5 credits per answered conversation (pricing).

What Shopify shows you before you approve

Shopify's Install app screen lists the personal data an app can view and the store data it can view and edit, and you can review an installed app's activity and permissions from its about page (Shopify Help Center). The data access section of the Loop Voice listing shows what the app accesses before you install. As of October 2026, the listing asks to view customer data (name, email address and phone number, plus geolocation, IP address, browser and operating system) and the store owner's details, to view products and the checkout page, and to edit customers, orders (all order history for the last 60 days) and discounts.

    FAQ

    Common questions

Do I need a Shopify API key to connect Loop Voice?

No. Authorization happens on Shopify: you approve Loop Voice's access on Shopify's install screen, and there is no key to create or paste.

Why does Loop Voice ask me to reconnect Shopify?

Newer features need the Customers and "Tagging converted orders" permissions. Reconnecting takes about 30 seconds and keeps your data and settings.

How does Loop Voice know a call recovered an order?

It ties revenue to the Shopify order number, within an attribution window you set for the workspace, and reports it per flow, campaign, channel and cart value band.

Can one Loop Voice workspace connect two stores?

No. A workspace has one storefront. If you sell through Checkout Champ, it can connect as the checkout provider on that storefront, or as the workspace's store when there is no storefront.
