Loop Voice vs Bland AI
Bland runs its own speech recognition, language model and voices and sells calling at one per-minute rate, from $0.14 on its self-serve Start plan. Texting, warm transfers, staged A/B releases and analytics dashboards are listed for Enterprise. Loop Voice is narrower: AI calls for online stores, with store triggers, texts and order attribution built in.

The short answer
Bland AI is built for large, high-stakes calling programs in regulated industries, with its own speech and language models and engineers who deploy agents with you. Loop Voice is a ready-made agent that only does store calls. If you run a big custom calling operation in healthcare, insurance or finance, Bland fits. If you run a store and want checkout, upsell, win-back and support calls tied to Shopify orders, Loop Voice does that without a build.
Loop Voice publishes this comparison. Details about Bland AI come from Bland's pricing page, docs and integrations page, checked on Oct 28, 2026. Prices and features change, so check the linked pages before you decide.
Four ecommerce jobs, side by side
What each one does out of the box for the four jobs most stores buy voice agents for.
Loop Voice
IncludedCalls from the abandoned-checkout event after the delay you set (10 minutes in the default flow), with the cart in hand. Texts the checkout link, offers only the discount codes you allow and stops when the order comes in.
Bland AI
Build it yourselfBatch calls and the call API can place the calls, and numbers on your do-not-call list are dropped. You build the trigger from Shopify checkouts and pass the cart in. Texting the link needs Enterprise.
Loop Voice
IncludedCalls in the window you set after an order, with one add-on that fits what was bought, such as a refill, a bundle or a warranty.
Bland AI
Build it yourselfPossible with your own order triggers and offer logic. Bland's docs don't describe ecommerce flows.
Loop Voice
IncludedCalls customers who haven't ordered in 60, 90 or 180 days (you pick the window), opens with their last order and adapts the comeback offer to what they say.
Bland AI
Build it yourselfUpload a lapsed-customer list as a batch, with columns as call variables. Tracking the orders that follow is up to you.
Loop Voice
IncludedAnswers 24/7 on the first ring: order status, returns, exchanges, sizing and shipping. What it can't resolve becomes a ticket with the transcript and order attached.
Bland AI
PartialInbound agents are included, and its retail page covers order tracking and returns. Connecting your store's order data takes custom tools.

How each one gets better after launch
Loop Voice
Loop Voice runs the improvement loop for you, scored on store revenue. Agents start from templates for sales, support and abandoned cart, with a prompt score calibrated on real calls and the orders they produced. Before launch, the Simulator plays your agent against six AI shoppers, from a ready buyer to one who suspects it's a robot, and scores each call without dialing anyone. After launch, you can split traffic between two agents and Loop Voice promotes the one with more revenue per call. LoopIQ learns from every call and each week names the one change worth making, such as holding the discount until minute two or calling sooner after checkout, and nothing changes until you approve it.
Bland AI
Bland says its agents improve themselves. In its docs that means evaluations with simulated callers that can block a release, plus Norm, which reproduces a problem, drafts a fix and checks it for your team to review. Staged A/B releases are on Enterprise. None of it scores calls on store revenue unless you build the order matching.
When Bland AI is the better pick
- You run a large calling program in insurance, healthcare, finance or government and want engineers to deploy it with you.
- You need FedRAMP, or on-premises or VPC deployment.
- You want one per-minute rate with no separate language model charges.
- You need a language outside Loop Voice's English, Spanish and 30 more: Bland lists 40+.
When Loop Voice is the better pick
- You want store calls running from the Shopify app in under 10 minutes, not a deployment project.
- You want the checkout link texted after the call without an Enterprise contract.
- You want each call tied to a Shopify order and judged by revenue per call.
- You want upsell, win-back and support plays ready to run.
How pricing compares
Bland lists Start at $0.14 a minute with no platform fee (10 calls at once, 100 a day) and Build at $0.12 a minute plus $299 a month (50 at once, 2,000 a day). Its billing docs add $15 a month per number, a $0.015 minimum per outbound attempt on Bland's lines and $0.02 per text on Enterprise. Loop Voice works out to about $0.95 to $1.49 per answered conversation, and calls nobody answers cost nothing.
Example: at the 15.9% pickup rate in our September benchmark, 1,000 answered conversations mean calling over 6,000 shoppers, more than Start's 100 calls a day allows. On Build, 5,000 minutes (4 per conversation plus a minute of voicemail) cost $299 plus $600, about $900 before number fees and the minimum on unanswered attempts. Loop Voice's Scale plan covers about 1,000 answered conversations for $975 a month, with the store layer included.
