Loop Voice for Omnisend: call the contacts in an Omnisend segment

Pick an Omnisend segment when you build a Loop Voice campaign, and an AI agent calls its contacts inside your daily window, at the pace you set. Loop Voice connects through a one-click authorization on Omnisend, with no API key, and you can revoke it. Omnisend events don't start Loop Voice flows; those come from your store connection.

    What it does

    Reads
Your Omnisend segments and the contacts in each one.
    Targets
A Loop Voice campaign at the segment you pick. Campaigns are in beta.
    Skips
Numbers on the do-not-contact list, before the first dial.
    Not included
Flows started by Omnisend events. Abandoned checkout and order flows start from your store connection.

    How to connect

    1. 1

In Omnisend, go to Audience, Segments and click Create segment, then add the filters that describe who you want to call (Omnisend's segmentation guide).

    2. 2

In Loop Voice, open Settings, Integrations, Omnisend and connect, then approve Loop Voice's access on Omnisend's screen. No API key changes hands.

    3. 3

Create a campaign with the Omnisend segment as its audience, then pick its time zone, a daily calling window and a pace in calls per minute.

    4. 4

Check the credit estimate and launch. Running out of credits pauses the campaign, and a top-up restarts it.

Lives in Settings, Integrations, Omnisend. Segments feed campaigns only; flows start from your store connection.

Filters that make a segment callable

Omnisend's rule that campaigns go only to subscribed contacts (Omnisend on segmentation) governs Omnisend's own sends, so put the gatekeeping for calls into the segment itself. Four filters help (Omnisend's filter reference):

    • Phone Number filters by country code, prefix or pattern, so every contact has a number in a country you call.
    • Consent shows marketing consent for email (GDPR) and SMS (TCPA). SMS consent covers texts. For AI calls, Loop Voice's help center says the opt-in should name your store, cover AI-generated or prerecorded voice calls and say consent isn't a condition of purchase; if yours doesn't, the segment isn't a call list. Our guide to calling rules has the detail, and counsel should confirm it for your store.
    • Subscription Status for SMS lets you leave out contacts marked Unsubscribed. Omnisend's own tip: to find people who never opted in, use "is Non-subscribed", not "is not Subscribed".
    • Placed Order with a relative timeframe, combined with a negative event (no order in a recent window), builds win-back and repeat-buyer audiences.

Two cautions. Total Spent doesn't subtract canceled, voided or refunded orders, so a big spender on paper may have sent most of it back. And segments with date-based filters refresh once a day, at 12:00 AM in your store's time zone, while conditional segments update in real time, taking up to a minute to reflect a change (Omnisend on segment updates).

Sizing a campaign before you launch

Loop Voice shows a credit estimate before launch, and a little arithmetic tells you whether it looks right.

Example: a segment of 1,200 contacts at 4 calls a minute needs about 5 hours of calling window to call everyone once. Windows apply in each contact's own time zone, so a national list can run into a second day. In Loop Voice's September 2026 benchmark, 6.6% of calls placed were answered; at that rate, 1,200 calls give about 80 answered conversations at about 1.5 credits each, roughly 120 credits. Calls nobody answers use none.

Most shoppers in that benchmark had recently left a checkout, so a list of lapsed customers can behave differently. Check the first day's answer rate before you widen the segment. Contacts who sit in several segments are covered two ways: Loop Voice places at most 3 outbound calls to one customer in 24 hours, across everything, and each agent's frequency cap limits calls over longer periods.

    FAQ

    Common questions

Does connecting Omnisend need an API key?

No. The connection is a one-click OAuth approval on Omnisend's side, and you can revoke it later.

Can an Omnisend automation trigger a Loop Voice call?

Not through this connection, which supplies campaign audiences only. Store events start flows through your store connection, and Zapier's Omnisend app has New Contact and Updated Contacts triggers if a new contact should start a flow through Zapier.

How do I keep contacts who unsubscribed in Omnisend out of a campaign?

Filter them out in the segment, for example with Subscription Status for SMS. Loop Voice also skips every number on its own do-not-contact list, which collects texted STOP replies, spoken requests to stop calling and carrier blocks.

Which Loop Voice plan do I need to call an Omnisend segment?

Every plan on the pricing page lists integrations as included. For a campaign, the number that matters is the plan's monthly credits: an answered conversation uses about 1.5 of them.
